Think I'm gonna go DSLR
and it's about time. I have never been quite satisfied with the pictures made with my Coolpix 990. Under difficult lighting conditions the colors seem to be way off - fiddling with the white balance doesn't really help.
My favorite DSLR as I a writing this blog entry is the Nikon D70. Prices have tumbled since introduction of the successor, the D70s.

As you know, I've just plumbed for one of these and I'm awaiting its arrival today! Can't wait to see some of the pictures you do.
It's true that the price in the UK is very high, but with the £100 cashback, that takes it down to about 870 euro, and I get the piece of mind of having a UK warranty should the thing breakdown!!
You're blog's looking good so far, even if I'm not a Mac fan :o)
Didn't know about the cashback, that does make the price on par with German prices (Nikon does not offer the cashback in Germany anymore, darn).
